When I first applied for college, I was not exactly sure how I was going to pay for everything. I had heard about student loans and Pell grants, both of which were viable options, but I also wanted to see if I could apply for a scholarship or two.

What I soon discovered was that scholarships for college are everywhere, and while some may not pay as much as one would hope, it is always a good idea to apply for as many as possible, because one thing that is for certain – they add up.

Macquarie University (Australia) International Scholarship (MUIS) 2011 for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies — Macquarie University International Scholarships are available across most courses to cover international tuition fees for study on campus at North Ryde in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree. Postgraduate courses not available under MUIS are Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Management, Master of Applied Finance (MAF), Master of Advanced Surgery and Master of Surgery.

UC International Student Undergraduate Scholarship at University of Canterbury — These scholarships were established in 2010 to recognise and support top achieving international students who have gained University Entrance in New Zealand and who will commence an undergraduate degree programme at the University of Canterbury. The first awards will be made in 2011.

BCA Finance will provide scholarships worth a total 420 million rupiah to s1 student achievement, but less able in the economy. Scholarships are awarded in the form of tuition fees up to a maximum of eight semesters and pocket money. BCA Finance Beam requirements of this scholarship must be received by the committee no later than September 24, 2010.
