<p>This scholarship covers full fees for boarding and 50% of tuition fees at Nexus International School, Putrajaya. It does not include any extra charges associated with being a boarder such as toiletries and clothing. Students are also required to pay the application fees, registration fees, textbooks, uniforms, school trips and the balance of 50% of the tuition fees. The scholarship will cover the boarder until the completion of the International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE) Course in Year 11. Click here to download FAQ.</p>
<p><strong>Eligibility</strong><br />
1.    Must be eligible to be enrolled as a student at Nexus International School, Putrajaya.<br />
2.    Any student in School Years 6 to 9 (11 – 15 years old)<br />
3.    The learner must be a non-Malaysian studying and residing in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos or Indonesia.<br />
4.    Good academic achievement and fluency in English </p>

<p><strong>PROSEDUR PEMILIHAN</strong></p>
<p>Hanya kandidat yang memenuhi syarat-syarat di atas yang akan dipanggil untuk mengikuti ujian pemilihan yang menyangkut Kemampuan Umum, Bahasa Inggris, dan Matematika pada bulan Agustus. Kandidat yang lulus ujian pemilihan akan dipanggil untuk mengikuti wawancara pada bulan September. Kandidat yang berhasil akan tiba di Singapura pada bulan November untuk mengikuti kursus singkat penyesuaian diri dalam bahasa Inggris sebelum memasuki sekolah di Singapura pada bulan Januari 2012.</p>

<p><strong>Persyaratan dan Cara Mendaftar</strong><br />
Beasiswa ini diberikan kepada Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI), pelajar SMA dan/atau sederajat di seluruh Indonesia yang baru saja menyelesaikan studinya (fresh graduate tahun 2011), memiliki nilai akademis yang memuaskan (lulus Ujian Akhir Sekolah dan Ujian Negara dengan total nilai rata-rata min 8.00), tidak memiliki kesempatan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi dan tidak sedang terikat dengan Program Beasiswa lainnya.</p>
<p>Persyaratannya adalah mengisi Formulir Pendaftaran secara on line e-registration (<a rel="nofollow" href="http://scholarship.cimbniaga.com/" target="_blank">http://scholarship.cimbniaga.com/</a>) dengan melampirkan data sebagai berikut (data di up load) sbb:</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Humber Institute Canada Scholarships 2011</strong> &#8211; Humber offers full tuition renewable scholarships for qualified incoming international students beginning classes in September of each year.</p>
<p><span id="more-136"></span><strong>Full Tuition Renewable Scholarships</strong></p>
<p>Humber offers three full tuition renewable scholarships (Approximate value $12,200 CAD). These scholarships are available for NEW international students only (two offered in September and one offered in January of each year). Applications will be considered based on academics, community involvement, referee/reference letters and statement of interest. Renewal of the scholarship will be based on the student’s ability to maintain a 70% GPA in each year of his/her program at Humber. An application form will be included with your acceptance package. The scholarships will be applied toward the successful students’ tuition fees.</p>
<p><strong>Bachelor’s Degree Scholarships</strong></p>
<p>These academic scholarships (available to academically qualified incoming students) are awarded at the time of offer based on the following high school/secondary school grade point average:</p>

<li>75-79.9% – $1,500 (one-time)</li>
<li>80-84.9% – $2,000 (renewable)*</li>
<li>85-89.9% – $3,000 (renewable)*</li>
<li>90-94.9% – $3,500 (renewable)*</li>
<li>95% or above – $4,000 (renewable)</li>
</ul>
<p>Bachelor’s Degree scholarships are available to students coming directly from high school/secondary school studies, who are non-transfer students (i.e. haven’t attended college or university, or studied in Humber’s EAP program), and are unlimited in quantity.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Curtin University, Australia: Curtin Engineering Merit International Scholarship</strong> &#8212; The Curtin Engineering Merit International Scholarship is available to international students who have completed their first semester of study at Curtin University in 2011 in an eligible course. Applicants will need to have demonstrated high-level academic achievement in their studies at a WA College for example Canning College, Tuart College or Murdoch College and obtained a Tertiary Entrance Ranking or equivalent in 2010.</p>
<p><span id="more-134"></span><strong>Eligibility</strong>:<br />
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for the Curtin Engineering Merit International Scholarships: Be undertaking the first year of their first undergraduate degree, and completed the first semester of full time (100 credits) study with an average of 70.00 at Curtin University, in an eligible course in 2011.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>THE UNIVERSITY OF PAVIA FC&amp;K: FUND FOR COOPERATION &amp; KNOWLEDGE II Edition: ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-2012</strong> &#8211; The University of Pavia (UNIPV), in order to promote international cooperation with the Developing Countries, offers 51 monthly instalments of 1.000 Euros each as scholarships to study at the University of Pavia or at the Institute for Advanced Study of Pavia (IUSS) during the academic year 2011-2012. Each scholarship will cover also the expenses for the Visa and for the travel to Italy and back (economy class).</p>
<p><span id="more-124"></span><strong>Eligibly Criteria</strong><br />
The scholarships are designed for students coming from a Developing Country (preferably from Countries classified as Low-income economies and Lower-middle-income economies by the World Bank; see http://data.worldbank.org/about/country-classifications/country-and-lending-groups#Low_income) and for Developing Countries students who received a scholarship financed through the FC&amp;K for the academic year 2010-2011 (in this case, expenses for VISA and for travel will not be covered). Only students born on/after the 1st January 1976 can participate.</p>
<p>At the end of the academic year, the University of Pavia will issue an academic transcript of records certificating the kind and the period of study.</p>
<p><strong>Application</strong><br />
Interested candidates must submit the application (available on the website of UNIV http://www.unipv.eu/on-line/en/Home/InternationalRelations/InternationalActivities/FundforCooperationKnowledge.html) which has to include:<br />
a complete application form with all the requested personal and academic data, the exact name of the selected course degree and of the Faculty at the University of Pavia or at IUSS;<br />
a curriculum vitae (European format: available on this Web page);<br />
a programme of studies and/or research activities which the candidate intends to implement during his/her stay in Pavia;<br />
a recent letter of reference signed by a university professor;<br />
a recent health certificate attesting that the applicant is not suffering from physical or mental illnesses;<br />
a photocopy of a valid passport of the applicant.</p>

<p><strong>Evaluation &amp; Selection</strong><br />
Scholarships will be awarded by the Commission that manages the Fund for Cooperation and Knowledge. The decision of the Commission will be final and will be transmitted only to successful applicants.</p>
<p><strong>Terms &amp; Conditions</strong><br />
The scholarships will be awarded according to the following modalities:<br />
Successful candidates will have to confirm their acceptance of the scholarship and of its conditions within the within the time limit set in the letter communicating the awarding of the scholarship. If a candidate fails to confirm his/her acceptance, the scholarship will be awarded to the following candidate in rank;<br />
Once received the declaration of acceptance of the scholarship, the University of Pavia will:<br />
send a prepaid travel ticket to Italy and provide for the travel expenses back to the developing country. Visa requirements will be care of the candidate, and will be reimbursed upon presentation of appropriate receipts;<br />
provide the candidate with the scholarship according to the final decision of the Commission: monthly instalments of 1.000 Euros each (the number of instalments assigned to each successful candidate will be decided by the Commission);<br />
arrange an accommodation in one of the University Residences of Pavia (lodging expenses will have to be paid by the candidate; if the candidate does not accept the proposed lodging, s/he will have to find another one by him/herself);<br />
provide a card for meals at University canteens (the candidate will get the student discount for the meals, which will be at his/her expense);<br />
guarantee all the facilities required during the period of residence &#8211; libraries, computer facilities, etc., including all the services of the Faculty which the student is associated with;<br />
help the candidate to settle through the services offered for free by the Welcome Point of the University of Pavia, which will provide also the information about applying for a student residence permit.<br />
Insurances will be direct care of the selected candidates. In particular, health insurance might be bought by the candidate before leaving the country of origin, being this usually mandatory while applying for the Visa.</p>

Valued at $50,000 a year for three years, the Vanier is one of Canada`s most prestigious graduate awards.</p>
<p><span id="more-122"></span>The Vanier Scholarships support doctoral studies in the social sciences and humanities, natural sciences and engineering, and health-related fields.</p>
<p>Both Canadian and international students are eligible to apply.</p>
<p>The Vaniers are administered by Canada`s three federal funding agencies:</p>

<li>Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)</li>
<li>Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC)</li>
<li>Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)</li>

<p>2012 Vanier Competition at the U of A</p>
<p><strong>Eligibility *</strong><br />
* Eligibility criteria are based on the 2011 Vanier CGS competition and will be updated once the details about the 2012 competition become available.</p>
<p>To be considered for a Vanier CGS at the University of Alberta, you must:<br />
intend to pursue a doctoral degree (or combined MA/PhD or MD/PhD) full-time at the University of Alberta in the May 2012 semester or the 2012/13 academic year. have completed between zero and 20 months of doctoral studies as of May 1, 2012 (ie. may not have begun the doctoral program earlier than Sept 1, 2010). have achieved a first-class average (equivalent to 3.5 or greater at the University of Alberta) in each of the last two years of full-time study or equivalent. be seeking financial support to pursue a first doctoral degree (or combined MA/PhD or MD/PhD).</p>
<p>be invited to apply by the University of Alberta; applicants may only be nominated to the national competition by one Canadian university. not have already received a doctoral-level scholarship or fellowship from SSHRC, NSERC or CIHR to undertake or complete a doctoral degree.</p>

<p><strong>How to Apply – For Students</strong><br />
Students must contact the U of A department and express interest in the Vanier scholarship as soon as possible. http://www.gradstudies.ualberta.ca/apply/index.htm</p>
<p>The department and the U of A Vanier CGS Committee will perform a preliminary assessment of qualified applicants; based on these preliminary assessments, eligible candidates will then be invited to complete the tri-agency`s full online Vanier CGS application and submit supporting documents. Only invited applicants are required to complete the online application.</p>
<p>The U of A Vanier CGS Committee will adjudicate, select and forward nominees to the national Vanier CGS competition by the national deadline. Nominations will be considered at the national Vanier CGS adjudication with results for the 2012 competition expected in April 2012.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Yayasan Tun Suffian Scholarship (Biasiswa) in Law, Malaysia</strong> &#8212; Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarship in Law funded by Yayasan Tun Suffian Foundation in Malaysia-2011. Since its establishment on 11 June 2002 the Tun Suffian Foundation, under the Joint Royal Patronage of Their Royal Highnesses the Sultan and the Raja Permaisuri of Perak, has, among other things, provided financial assistance to young Malaysians pursuing law studies and young lawyers attending educational seminars and conferences both here and abroad.</p>
<p><span id="more-119"></span>The Cambridge Tun Suffian Scholarship (modelled on the Rhodes Scholarships, the oldest international fellowships initiated after the death of Cecil Rhodes in 1902 to bring outstanding students to the University of Oxford) has received official recognition from the authorities at Cambridge.</p>
<p>TERMS AND CONDITIONS</p>
<p>LLB Scholarships (Maximum 4 years)</p>
<p>1. In addition to the full tuition fees payable by the scholar from the date of award of the Scholarship, the Foundation shall provide the scholar with:</p>
<p>(a) An annual book and miscellaneous allowance of RM1,000.00;<br />
(b) An annual living expenses of RM9,000.00 payable in 2 half-yearly installments.<br />
2. An LLB scholar must maintain a CGPA of above 2.7 in all his/her semester examinations, failing which the Board of Trustees of the Foundation reserves the right to have the scholar’s scholarship suspended or withdrawn.</p>
<p>LLM Scholarships (Maximum 1 year)</p>
<p>3. In addition to the full tuition fees, the Foundation shall provide the scholar with:</p>
<p>(a) A book and miscellaneous allowance of RM2,000.00;<br />
(b) A living expenses of RM12,000.00 payable in 2 half-yearly installments.<br />
PhD Scholarships (Maximum 3 years)</p>
<p>4. All PhD scholars are required to:</p>
<p>(a) Take no longer than three years to complete their PhD course;<br />
(b) Ensure that their assigned supervisors submit once every three months a detailed report on the progress of their dissertation;<br />
(c) Agree that the Board of Trustees of the Tun Suffian Foundation reserves the right to have any scholar’s scholarship suspended or withdrawn should a negative report from a scholar’s assigned supervisor is received, it being understood that it shall be within the absolute discretion of the Board to decide whether a report is negative or otherwise.<br />
5. In addition to the full tuition fees, the Foundation shall provide the scholar with:</p>
<p>(a) An annual book and miscellaneous allowance of RM3,000.00;<br />
(b) An annual living expenses of RM16,000.00 payable in 4 quarterly installments.<br />
Coditions applicable to all scholarships</p>
<p>6. In addition to all the terms and conditions earlier stated, ALL SCHOLARS must undertake:</p>
<p>(a) That they are not in receipt of any other scholarship, fellowship or monetary grant from any other body;<br />
(b) That if at any time in the future a scholar obtains any other scholarship, fellowship or monetary grant from any other body, the scholar shall immediately inform the Foundation, in which event his/her Tun Suffian Scholarship would be withdrawn forthwith and all monies erstwhile expended by the Foundation on the scholar shall be refunded by him/her without delay.<br />
PROCEDURE FOR THE APPLICATION OF SCHOLARSHIPS:</p>

<p>Applications are to be submitted directly to the University of Cambridge Board of Graduate Studies in the appropriate Graduate Admission and Scholarship Application Form (GRADSAF), attaching therewith all relevant particulars required from the applicant.<br />
Arrangements have already been made for the authorities at Cambridge to forward all applications to the Honorary Secretary at the Foundation’s Secretariat at the Faculty of Law of the University of Malaya.<br />

The undergraduate scholarships is funded by Winchester School of Art .The UK/EU and international students can apply for this scholarship. <p><span id="more-115"></span>Fashion Marketing Scholarship is available to both UK/EU and International students. These scholarships are £500 for UK/EU students and £1,000 for International students. They are offered on “first come, first served” basis.</p>
<p>A limited number of scholarships are available to eligible students who have accepted a place on the BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing Programme for the coming academic year and who are not in receipt of any other scholarship/bursary from WSA. These scholarships are for the first year only.</p>
